Where does CrownRing buy its gold?
All gold is purchased through Canadian gold suppliers that sells only recycled gold, which conforms to all international laws. In addition, CrownRing has signed on to No Dirty Gold, a voluntary campaign that encourages its participants to re-examine gold and metal sourcing, and promotes responsible mining worldwide.
Where do the proceeds from the sale of the X-rings go?
All net proceeds from the sale of the X-rings will go to the Xaverian Fund, a scholarship program for future Xaverians.
What can I engrave on my ring?
Your graduation date is already depicted on the side of your X-Ring. Good examples of engraving for the inside are your initials and degree. There is a limitation of 15 characters per line, 2 lines maximum for your engraving. We will also engrave your student ID number on the inside as a means of identification.
Is there a separate charge for engraving?
No, there is no charge for the engraving inside your X-Ring.
How can I determine the correct ring size for my finger?
If you would like to get an accurate measuring of your ring finger, please visit the X-Ring Store where ring sizers are available for you to get an accurate measurement.
Will I be able to try on my ring before the ceremony?
Yes. You will be notified when your ring arrives at the X-Ring Store to try on your ring and ensure that sizing is correct and does not need to be adjusted prior to the ceremony.
My ring needs to be resized, how long will this take?
Based on the time of year as well as the nature of the sizing request, please allow between 2 – 4 weeks to have your ring re-sized. There is no charge to re-size your X-Ring as long as it is by half a size. In the event that your ring size needs to increase by a full size, charges will then apply.
There is a problem with my ring, what should I do?
Upon receipt of your X-Ring, please contact The X-Ring Store at email@example.com or Toll Free – 1-888-867-2450 or 902-867-2450. We will either ship your ring directly for you or if you are in the Antigonish area, a return kit will be provided to you to facilitate the return process.
What are the payment methods available?
You can pay for your ring by cash, Debit, VISA, MasterCard & American Express. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to confirm your X-Ring order.
When will I receive my ring if I order after the deadline?
If you are not attending the X-Ring ceremony, your ring will be shipped to the X-Ring Store 4 to 6 weeks after the order has been placed. Please note, no rings will ship before December 3rd.
I lost my ring, what should I do?

I would like to cancel my X-Ring order, what should I do?
Although it is possible to cancel your X-Ring order, depending on the production stage your ring is currently undergoing, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the amount starting 2 days after the order.
